OLD NELSON RESIDENTS. AUCKLAND ORGANISATION*. At the request of the Nelson Patriotic Committee the Mayor of Auckland, Sir Ernest Davis, is convening a meeting of old Nelsonians in Auckland to arrange for suitable entertainment from time to time for Nelson men in the mobilisation camps or bases in the Auckland area. The meeting will be held at the Town Hall on Friday afternoon. The president of the Auckland branch of the Nelson College Old Boys' Association, Dr. T. Harold Pettit, said to-dnv, that in addition to that organisation there was afeo in Auckland a branch of the Nelson College Old Girls' Association, and both organisations would form a nucleus. It was intended, however, to form for patriotic work an organisation that would include all old Nelson residents.
