TRAWLING LIMITS.
HAUBAXI GULF WATERS.

WELLINGTON, Friday.
A restriction on trawling in certain I areas in the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland, by large trawlers built after July 5, 1940, is announced in the amended sea fisheries regulations gazetted to-night. The prohibition, which is aimed at conserving the fishing grounds, applies to all vessels over 50ft. in length built after the date specified. ,
