WELLINGTON, FridaY.
The total of interest-free loans and donations to the war fund is now £2,285,364. The latest euma acknowledged includes £1280 for the duration of the war and 12 months afterwards from the Temuka Borough Council: £1000 each for the duration of the war and six months afterwards 'from the Amalgamated Carpenters and Joiners' Union, Christchurch, Mr. J. T. Norton (Lyttelton), Sir William Pcrrv (Mastc.rton), Dixon Brothers (BlulT) and the Canterbury Law Society.
