WEATHER FORECAST.
FOB CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Stir" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— South-east to south winds, mainly light to fresh in force, but strong at Itrst in exposed positions in the north. A few passing showers, but weather mainly fair to fine and cold. Seas, moderate to rather rough on the west coast, slight to moderate on the east coast. A depression is located to the northeast of New Zealand, and pressure is high to the south and west. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. T j»* following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri lalvnd at noon to-day:— Wind, south, moderate; sea, alight; weather, fine; visibility, good; bar»l meter, rising.
