MR. FRASER'S APPOINTMENT.
APPROVAL GIVEN* BY KING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. It was officially announced to-day that His Majesty the King had been graciously pleased to approve the appointment of the Hon. P. Fraeer, Prime Minister of New Zealand, to be a member of the Privy Council.
The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, and Messrs. J. G. Coatee and G. W. Forbes are other New Zealand members of the l*rivy Council, and two former Governors-General of the Dominion, the Earl of Liverpool and Lord Bledi&loe, are also "counsellors."
