MT. ALBERT TO PLAY NORTH SHORE, THE LEAGUE LEADERS.

The Rugby League champions of last season, Mount Albert, have been drawn to iv.eet the leading team of the present season, North Shore, on Saturday at Cai'law Park. North Shore, with 14 points in the competition table:, have a lead of three points from Richmond and Manukau, and Mount Albert, who have won four of the eight matches played this season, are at the moment in fifth position and level with City. There have been occasions in recent matches w-hen Mount Albert have shown a return to their good form o£ last season, and with one of their best displays they should fully extend the lenders. With players of the calibre of Shadbolt, Leatherbarrow, Gunning and Flowers, they have one of the best packs in Auckland, and a set- of backs capable of showing good combination. Smith, three players of exceptional pace in Chatham, Evans and Cheater to give support, and one of the best full-backs in the code, in Verdun Scott.
