REMANDED ON BAIL.

HAMILTON, Sunday
Charged with the theft of se\vt of sodium chlorate, the property of the Matamata County Council, Henry Thorwald Brill, ,pf Okoroire, noxious weeds inspector for the county, appeared before Mr. N. FitzHerbert, J.P., in the Putaruru Police Court. On the application of Detective A. J. White, of Hamilton, he was remanded until July 11. Bail wae allowed at £100 on his own recognisance, with one surety of £100.
