EMPLOYMENT DISPUTE. 500 MEN INVOLVED. (By Telegraph.—Prcm Association.) GREYMOUTH, this day. Three State mines were idle to-day in consequence of a dispute over the employment of a Liverpool trucker, whose dismissal was referred to a conference laet Saturday. Mr. J. O'Brien. M.P., chairman of the board, was in favour of the trucker resuming hi* employment, but the management woulfl not accept this interpretation. Five hundred men are idle. Negotiations art in progress.
