FRONTIERSMEN MEET.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE. SATISFACTORY YEAR'S OPERATIONS. (By Telegraph.—Frees Association.) ELTHAM, this day. The annual conference of the New Zealand Legion of Frontiersmen opened this morning and will conclude this even, ing. A civic reception was extended to the delegates by the Mayor, Mr. R. Lewis. Commandant J. C. Findlater presided over an attendance representing all the Dominion unite. The report and balance-sheet showed the financial position to be satisfactory and membership well maintained. Delegates will be entertained' at a smoke ■concert to-night, and the proceedings will conclude to-morrow with a big church parade.
