FINANCIAL HELP.
FOR EXTRA EQUIPMENT. 1 (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAXGAREI, this day. The Government is preparing a scheme through the State Advances Corporation to lend moneys to dairy companies to enable the companies to advance funds to suppliers for increased ■cheese and pig meat production. Advice to this effect was telegraphed to the Northland District Pig Council by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Xash, to-day. The loans proposed will include provision for pig houses and other essential extra equipment. The dairy companies will be responsible in the normal way to collect instalments to cover interest and repayment of loans in agreed periods. The Northland Pig Council to-day wired to the Minister expressing appreciation of his prompt action and considering the reply most satisfactory.
