ANOTHER MINE.
DISCOVERED BY NAVY,
EVERY PRECAUTION TAKEN. (By TWogrcph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. It is understood that owing to the discovery of another mine the naval authorities have deemed it wise to close the port of Auckland till further sweepills has been carried out. Following the loss of the liner Niagara two mines were discovered on successive days, and the latest discovery resulted in, further prompt action by the Navy.' It is reliably learned that every precaution is being taken in the interests of safety.
