BEAUXIVRE'S WIN. RACING AT ROSEHILL. When Beaulivxe and Mdhican ran right away train the Dundas Handicap field at Rosehill on Saturday they gave an indication of wiiat claae will do in a truly run race (eaye the Sydney "Morning Herald" of Monday). Beaulivre was moch too good for his older rival, beating him by two lengths, but Mohican was four lengths in front of Rodborough, and the others followed at intervals." Beaulivre'e win wae anticipated, and backers had no hesitation in laying odds on him.
Pen began smartly, carrying the field along in th& first furlong until Jazbeau ran to the front. That gelding ehowed extraordinary speed when balanced, and with Beaulivre about two lengths behind him he made the pace fast from the five furlonge to three furiongS. At that stage Beaulivre was travelling smoothly, with an obvious mastery over Jezbeau. Mohican was allowed time to become balanced. He moVed into fourth place on the turn, and riot long afterwards was soeond to Beaulivre. who had run to the front. Mohican's challenge caused M. McCarten to ride Beanllvre out entering, the last furlong, and Benulivre responded to the call. The time. 1.12 ft. was only a quarter of a second slower than the record.
