TWO SURVIVORS.
AUCKLANDER ON GLORIOUS. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 19. Two New Zealanders, Lieutenant R. J. B. Miles, son of Brigadier R. Miles, of Auckland, and Flight-Lieutenant Pat IG. Jameson, are amongst the survivors of the aircraft carrier Glorious.
Lieutenant Miles is the only son of Brigadier R. Miles, D.5.0., M.C.", and the late Mrs. Miles, who lived at Mount Eden while the brigadier was attached to the headquarters staff of the Northern Military District. Brigadier Miles is commanding the divisional artillery of the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force in Egypt. His son left New Zealand some yew* ago to join the Roval Navv.
No information was available locally as to Flight-Lieutenant Jameson.
