STATE OF TE AROHA RUGBT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AROHA, this day. "That senior Rugby in Te Aroha be abandoned if, after next Saturday's match with Paeroa in the Poland Cup series, a good response of players Iβ not forthcoming," wast'a' resolution paesed at a meeting of the Te Aroha management committee last night. : .*Jttlgby In Te Aroha is at present in a most deplorable state," said the president, Mr. H. C. Kennedy, in moving the resolution/:' "It hae reached the stage that to field a senior team in the Morrinsvllle competition each Saturday is becoming increasingly difficult. We have found it necessary to call-on men who have not played for a number of seasons. Furthermore, we have had to call on junior players to help fill up the senior team "The lack of interest taken in Rugby this season has been deplorable," continued Mr. Kennedy, "and if we default to Paeroa next Saturday it will mean the end of Thames Valley' Rugby as. far aa Te Aroha is concerned." ■^γ
