THE ARAPUNI HANDICAP.
PROSPECTIVE DIVISIONS.
Provision lias been made to divide the Arapuni Hack Handicap at Te Awamutu on Saturday if neceeaary, but if run in divisions they will only be treated as one race so far as the totalizator is concerned. The following are the acceptors arranged in divisions:— First Division.—Monte Cristo, 0.2; Row Acre, 8.11 ; Hunter's Night. 8.10; Glenbevan, 8.9; Lady Clorane, 8.4; ftival, 8.3 ; Auburn I>u, Mingle, Caehuca, Acquest, Acre's Beauty, Mies Eureka, Tahiti, 8.0. Second Division.—Miss Valerie, Pasture, 8.11; Trig Station, 8.10; Star Veal, 8.5; Gas Acre, Tbe Ugly Duckling, Preux Chevalier, Loch Acre. Windcreos, Phil Vaale, Joan Peel, ExpeUaut, 8.0. The starting times and order of running of the programme are as followe: —11.30, Andrew Kay Steelpechaee; 12.15, Arapuni Hack Handicap; 1.0, W. Q. Park Steeplechase; 1.45, Woodstock Stakes; 2.30, Orakau Hurdles ; 3.15, Paterangl Handicap ; 4.0, Halrinl Handicap. WAIKATO RACING CLUB. GOOD ENTRIES RECEIVED. ' Excellent nominations have been received for the patriotic meeting of tbe Wnikato Itacihg Club to be held at Te Kapa next Saturday week. Tbe chief event, the Southern Queen Handicap, one mile and a quarter, hue attracted 2."), and the Hamilton Handicmp, tho open sprint, 17. The Hon. E. R. Davis has presented a trophy value £10, which will go to the trainer of the Southern Queen 'Handicap. ROYAL CHIEF REAPPEARS, Royal Chief has made a reappearance on the Riccarton tracks. It 'has been decided that he is to do his next eeaeon'e racing in the Dominion.
