I * ROXY'T IyOLI. A grippingly dramatic erpy story with a background of tbe famous Maginot Line, thought-to-be the impregnable border . defence of now stricken. France, is told in "Double Crime in the Maginot Line, , opening at the Roxy and Tivoli Theatres ' to-morrow. Filmed in French with English titles superimposed on the scenes, the film is hailed as one of the most exciting, ' and certainly one of the most timely, films of the year. It is the first screen production to be made in the famous line of fortifications, and it gives a vivid impression of the tremendous strength of what was claimed to be a great bulwark , for democracy against Nazi invasion. The | story is of a German 6py who was able i to get into one of the fortresses, commit- . ting a murder to escape detection. Action is fast and suspense is maintained right up to the end. Victor Francen, a noted French actor, heads the cast, which also includes Vera Korene and Jacques Baumer. Jaqueline Wells and Bruce Cabot are starred in the second attraction, My Son is Guilty."
