Italian And French Fleets Engaged MAJOR CLASH REPORTED (Cnitcil Press Association.—Copyright.—ltec. 3.30 p.m.) LONDON, this day. The "Daily Mail" Bordeaux correspondent states that, acting on orders from Admiral Darlan, the French Fleet is reported tohave had a major engagement with the Italian Fleet. It is understood that the Italians suffered serious losses. It is not clear when the engagement occurred.
