LOANS AND DONATIONS. (l'.y Telegraph.—Prcse Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Donations and interest-free loans to the Government for 'war purposes now total £2,091,440. Included in this amount is a donation of f 1000 from Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hewitt, of Mangamaire, a loan of £4000 from the lleretaunga Co-operative Dairy Company (Hastings) for -the duration and twevc v months afterwards, a loan of £1000 from the Onehunga Perpetual Land Building and Investment Society for the duration and six months, and a loan of £1000 from W. Walker, of Dipton, for the duration.
