In tbe House of Representatives, Mr. Hamilton Fish introduced a resolution authorising the President to purchase Greenland from Denmark at an estimated price of 40,000,000 dollars.
He explained: "The United States should adopt a policy of purchasing or acquiring as an offset to debts all foreign non-Canadian possessions within 1500 miles of the coast."
