SIZE REDUCED.
NEWSPAPERS IN BRITAIN. LONDON, April 15. The morning newspapers have been reduced in size as the result of an order issued by the Paper Controller, operating from midnight last Saturday. This reduced the amount of paper supplies to customers in March. April and May from 60 per cent to 30 per cent of the amount supplied or manufactured in the same period last year, except under license. Furthermore, licenses already issued have been reduced 50 per cent.
