MR. F. C. PERRY.
The death has occurred at his residence, Ladies' Mile, Remuera, of Mr. F. C. Perry, in his fifty-sixth year. Born at Perth, Australia, Mr. Perry came to New Zealand in 1888. He was first appointed to the position of county clerk for the Gisborne district, and then for a number of years occupied a similar position at Waitomo. In 1927 he •was instrumental in forming the New Zealand Institute of County Clerks. He was elected president of the institute, and held office until he retired from the Waitomo County Council in 1933 to accept the position of New Zealand secretary of the New Zealand Mission to Lepers. This position he held until his death. Mr. Perry was also well known in friendly society circles, and was a past district Grand Master -of the Manchester Unity of the Independent Order of Oddj fellows. He is survived by his wife, six sons and two daughters.
