Mr. C. K. Grierson arrived from Wellington by train this morning. Mr. R. J. Kerridge was a passenger by train from Wellington this morning. The Rt. Rev. W. A. R- Fitchett. Bishop of Dunedin. left Auckland by air this morning for Dunedin. Mr. K. L. Usmar arrived in Hamilton this morning after atending a conference of the recruiting council in Wellington. Mr. G. Grey Campbell arrived by train this morning from Palmerston North, where he represented the Auckland University College at a meeting of the board of governors of the Massey Agricultural College. Mr. F. J. Perham, -who has been senior ranger of the State Forest Service in Southland, k. to be conservator for Canterbury, and Mr. J. F. Field, conservator of forests at Xelson, will take up a 1 similar post in Southland. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coaxes arrived from Wellington by train this morning.
