As a number of the larger keel yachts intend to haul out for the winter next week-end the official closing of the season was held earlier than usual, but several clubs still have races to complete their fixtures. The Victoria Cruising Club will hold harbour races to-morrow for several cups, competed for annually in various classes. These include the Casey Cup for the H, L and X classes, the Rae Cup for the M. V and S classee, the Boonetra Memorial Cup for all with the "Whitebait" Cup for first T elate boat to finish. All events utart and iinifh off the new clubhouse, St. Mary's Bay. The entries are Rood, as they usually are in this club. The Devonport Yacht Club will hold a race from Victoria wharf to Rocky Bay, Waiheke, for the ke«»l class, which takes the place of the race postponed tuo week* npo.
