CARPENTERS' DECISIONS.
At a meeting of the Carpenters' Union this week strong objection was taken to recent prosecutioiu for alleged subversive action and to the cancellation of the Man in the Stree.t and Social Justice broadcasting sessions. Members of the union viewed with alarm this alleged encroachment on freedom of speech and the prospect of the broadcasting service being narrowed down to a "propaganda instrument," expressing the views of a few individuals only.
