ANZAC CEREMONIES.

TWO AUCKLAND PARADES.

DAWN SERVICE ARRANGED.

Anzae Day services in Auckland on Thursday, April 25, will again include two parades, one at dawn and the other at 11 o'clock, the arrangements being similar to those a year ago. Plans for the 11 o'clock service will be carried out by the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association, in co-operation with the Gty Council, and the parade will be under the control of Captain R. S. Judson, Y.C:, while the dawn ceremony is being organised by. the Auckland branch of the Australian Imperial Force ExServicemen's Association, in co-operation with the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association and the Gallipoli Association.

Led by Colonel N. W. McD. Weir, officer commanding the Northern Military District, the dawn parade will commence at the Domain kiosk at 4.45 a.m., and the service at the Cenotaph will open at 5 o'clock. Only one wreath will be laid, in honour of all fallen soldiers, sailors, end army nursing sisters. The Anzac dedication will oe recited by Colonel Weir, and prayers will be conducted by the Rev. H. K. Vickery, -who will also deliver a short address. The singing of the hymns will be led by the Commercial Travellers' choir. The Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, members of Parliament, and members of city and suburban local bodies have been invited to be present. Special tram, bus and ferry services will be run before and after the service.

The 11 o'clock parade will be fully representative of the New Zealand Division of the Great War, ex-servicemen being in mufti, with medals and decorations. A new feature will be the laying of a wreath on the Cenotaph by eoldiers at present serving, in memory of New Zealand men overseas who have lose their lives in the present war.
