WOMAN'S FATE.
KILLED IN FIERCE CYCLONE. (Received 1.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, this day. A wonian was killed, great damage was done and communications failed when a cyclone, which has been operating off the Queensland coast for the last few days, crossed the coast near Townsville. Terrific rains came with the cyclone and major floods are expected. The woman was killed when a slab of masonry fell from the fireplace in her home.
