HAPPY RENDEZVOUS.
ROWING CLUB'S OLD ROMS. In welcoming the visitors at the "\t Home held on Saturday afternoon l.v the West End Rowing Club, the president. Mr A. < . Vorden. said that the function rang down the official curtain of the rowing season. It was also the final "At Homo" in the old clubboiMo. which had boon the rendezvous for many happy gatherings during the p;ist r,4 years, as the club would be moving into its now clubhnuoe at the now boat harbour at tho foot of Curran Street. Tho rltibheiiso would be one of the most modern in New Zealand and tho members of the eluh looked forward to spending many happy hours there under ideal conditions. There would bo deep water at all times for floating the boats. The new site was neot'snible. and the improved facilities after labouring under difficulties. as tho result of tidal conditions, in the old shed, would be greatly appreciated by club members.
