CAR'S SKID IN GRAVEL.
YOUNG FARMER KILLED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTIXGS, Sunday. A farmer, Mr. Thomas Bennett, junior, aged 23, of Whetukura, near Dannevirke, was killed instantly early this morning when the small car he was driving skidded in loose gravel and went over the bank on the main road near Ormondville. Mr. Bennett received terrible head injuries.
