DROWNED IN RIVER.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAKATANE, this <Uy. After evidence of the boy's father, a companion and a police officer had been heard at the inquest into the death of Theo Oilman, aged 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oilman, of Kawerau, who was drowned in the Tarawera River on March 4, the coroner, Mr. G. A. Brabant, J.P., returned a verdict tbat death was due to accidental drowning.
