NEW BOARD MEMBERS. MEMORY OF MR. RUKUTAI. SEASON STARTS SATURDAY. The Auckland Rugby League Control Board last evening welcomed a new member. Mr- J. Clark, who represented Auckland and New Zealand in 1913, 1914 and [WW. during which period he played for Poiisonhy Hub. The chairman, Mr. (J. (.ley CaiupU-11. I he other new member of the board is Mr. I . M. \ . Wilson, a former trustee and chairman ..t' Newton Hangers Club. The chairman of the school committee is to be a co-opted member of the board without voting power. Mr. If. Walmsley was thanked for the oiler ot a special trophy to commemorate the late Mr. James Rukutai. Messrs. I. Culpa n and E. Chapman were appointed representatives of the board on injured players' fund committee. Commenting on the opening draw on Saturday of two provisional rounds of plav. the chairman said reports indicated that all clubs would be well represented. The suinll daughter of the treasurer.
