> .. The Northcote Borough Council met last evening, th« Mayor, Mr. R- Martin, presiding. New borough engineer reported that the work on the new reservoir was completed and that it was now 'in use. Stafford Park.—Application was received from the League Football Club for the use of Stafford Park. The council granted the use of the ground from April 27 and on the same conditions as last year. Land Purchase. —The State Advances Corporation advised having purchased three sections from the C. E. Major estate in Gordon Road. Loan Works. —The total expenditure to date of the £4500 water works loan wasj £3380.
