HYDATID TABLETS FOR DOGS.
- I wisli to protest against the council's ' policy of refusing to accept the 7/(5 dog 5 licence fee, if one does not also pay the * extra 1/ (making S/G) for the hydatid I tablets. They refuse to issue a. do? i collar unless the full S/G is paid. Yesterday the man called and collected the I fee. We carried out the instructions on I the paper and gave our prize Sydney ; Silkey dog tile amount, a half-tablet, ; as recommended. Immediately after i taking it, the dog collapsed with what ) appc-ai>d a severe heart seizure and lay s inert for a .considerable time. When . it did recover it was unable to walk for • about an hour. It has since been vioL lcntly ill, and is still very weak. Surely, 1 the tablets that one is compelled to buy cannot be suitable for all dogs. I know I shall refuse to buy any more after seeing my little dog .suffer so. ! ' SYDNEY SILKEY.
