ANCIENT GEOGRAPHY.
Lent by Sir. L. V. Taylor and exhibited in the Queen Street premises of Hill and Plummer, are two maps of considerable historical interest. Both date as far back as 1774.

The other is from " Abel Tnsinan's records, and purports to depict a. large part of the southern hemisphere. The famous Dutch navigator's findings, though covering n tremendous expanse of land and sea "are chiefly of interest as showing the paucity of knowledge concerning; South Sea" territories existent in those times.
