RUGBY LEAGUE.
REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. * The Teport presented to the annual meeting of the Auckland Rugby League Referees' Association last evening, when Mr. L. E. Bull presided over a large attendance, stated that the 1930 season was successful, and the number of newmembers indicated the flourishing state of the association, the total active membership being 56. Messrs. K. Mclver and J. Donovan were congratulated upon their promotion to senior A grade, nownumbering seven. The death of an esteemed former officer, Mr. J. Rukntai, was deplored. Officers were elected as follows :—President, Mr. I*. E. Bull: vice-president, Mr. J. McCowatt; senior delegate, Mr. W. Mincham : junior. Mr. J. Short; schoolboys, Mr. G. Kelly : New Zealand Association. Mr. Li. E. Bull; secretary, Mr. T. E. Skinner: treasurer, Mr. A. Chapman: critic. Mr. A. Sanders; appointment board appointee. Mr. P. Rogers; examination committee. Messrs. M. Kenton and A. Brady; executive. Messrs. Billman, M. Wetherill and R. Otto.
