FAT CATTLE. ■— i WESTFIELD MARKET. LAST WEEK'S PRICES RULE. _ i Fat cattle were : penned -in more than average numbers at the Westfield fat stock market to-day. The quality was not ae high as usual, but the demand was good, and last week's prices luled. Extra choice ox beef sold to 37/ per 1001b. Last week's prices also ruled lor cows and heifers, for which competition was keen for an average yarding. Two lots of extra lieavv prime voting heifers, one from Mr. H. C. Bull, Ma'ngore. and the other from Mr. E. Martyn-Wright, Mauku, made up to £9 17/6, while a line of steers from Mr. J. E. Leach, of Wellsford, • brought to £14 lOf.
