TE AROHA MEETING. THE FIRST DAY. TWELVE REMAIN IN CUP. - I Fine fields have been attracted for tlic first day of the Te Aroha Jockey Club's annual meeting, which commences on Saturday and concludes on Monday. Twelve remain in the Herries' Memorial Cup, the most noticeable defection being Proud Fox. ; 'However, there is plenty of material for a good race. Fourteen figure in the Waihou Handicap, and they include some good sprinters. The Juvenile Handicap has drawn the largest field of the day, seventeen having .been paid up for, while there are a dozen hacks in the Jubilee Cup.
