RAW MATERIALS ALSO HIGHER. TRADE CHANGES IN JANUARY. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Fefbruary 19. The principal increases shown in the Britisii tnade returns for January include: Imports—Grain and flour, £3,238,000; meat, £2,614,000; dairy pi ounce, £3,320,000; other food, £3.254,000; non-fen ous ores and scrap, £1,638,000; raw cotton, £3,568,000; wool, raw and waste, £2,547,000; non-ferrous metals and manufactures, £942,000. Export increases ara: Beverages ami cocoa preparations, £825,000; coal, £579,000; chemicals, drugs and dyes £1,029,000. Jiew-easeß . are: — Imports: Tobacco, £ 1*,6W,000; wood and timber £1,090,000; hides and skins, £564,000. Exports: Wool raw ami waste, £403,000; machinery, £731,000; vehicles, £1,762,000.
