WAITEMATA AREA.
FURTHER RETICULATION. TWO POWER BOARD LOANS. Steps were taken at a meeting of the Waiteniata Electric Power Board to raise by special order loans totalling £50,000, £45,000 for tlie purpose of further reticulation, and £5000 for various purpose*, including equipment. It is proposed that the loan of £45,000 shall be for a term of 25 years, at a rate of interest not exceeding £4 5/ per cent per annum, and that the loan of £5000 shall be for a term of ten years, the rate of interest not to exceed £4 5/ per cent per annum. The formal resolution to raise the loan* was moved by the chairman, Mr. S. E. Kennings, and carried unanimously, without discussion.
