The carnivnls will be promoted by the Newmarket Amateur Swimmini; Club and the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association. MOUNT EDEN CLUB. SECOND CARNIVAL. TO-NIGHT. Swimmers who represnuted Auckland at the New Zealand championship meeting in Wellinjrton last week and did well in the Yaldhurst Shield competition will be among the contestants at the Mount Edon Amateur Swimming Club's carnival in the Bellevue Road Baths to-niirlit. The national sprint champion, P. Hanan. will compete in the 30 yards and 220 yards handicap events. A lengthy programme of handicap and inter-club events has lieon arranged.
