LONDON'S WEEK-END.
One curious effect of the war is tdiat Saturday night in London, which in peace time used 1o be the emptiest owing to the week-end habit, is now the gayest because so many officers and men get week-end leave, comments Charles Gravee in the "Daily Mall." The theatres have always done good business in the cheaper parts of the horae on Saturdays. Now the stalls are equally full.
