Senor Don Roberto Mane Nin has been appointed Consul for Uru«Miay at Wellington.
Mr. J. Hill has been appointed chairman of directors of the Sunny Park Cooperative Dairy Company, Ltd., in succession to the late Mr. J. BelL
Mr. Hamilton Mitchell has been appointed Consular agent for Brazil at Wellington during the absence of Major C. A. L. Treadwell on active service.
Mr. Lachlan Mac Lean has been appointed produc ;rs' representative of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. He takes the place of Mr. J. D. W. Orniond, who has resigned.
Dr. M. H. Watt, Director-General of Health, left Auckland to-day on a visit to North Auckland health districts. He will return towards the end of next week, when he will leave for Wellington. e
Mr. D. Harris, of Hastings, who was secretary of the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition held in Dunedin in 1889-90, and who is the sole surviving member of its executive, paid a visit to the Centennial Exhibition this week
