WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AMD PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to aa far south aa Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate east to north-east winds, freshening at times. Weather cloudy and, in places, misty, with some scattered rain. Temperatures mild to warm. Seas alight in the west and moderate in the east. An anti-cyclone extends on to New Zealand from the east, but pressure is still relatively low in the extreme north. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf waa received from Tlritiri Island at noon to-aav:— Wind, east, north-east, fresh; sea, moderate; weather, fine but cloudy; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
