OAMARU METHODISTS' VIEW. YOUNG MEN'S ACTION REGRETTED (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OAMARU, this day. The quarterly meeting of the Oamaru Methodist Circuit passed the following reso'.ution unanimously: —"This meeting regrets the .attitude taken by the \oung Men's Bible Class Convention, held in Wellington. Every effort was made to avert war, but now the nation has been forced to defend itself it behoves us all to fight for the freedom for which the Christian Church stands." The Young Men's Bible Class Convention passed a resolution declaring their unwillingness to take part in the war.
