In connection with yesterday's cablegram from Sydney that New Zealand's offer to «end a team to Australia this year is almost certain to be accented, Mr. J. A. Redwood, Dominion president, informed the "Auckland Star" to-day that no correspondence had passed between the Australian Board «f Control and the Xew Zealand Council on such a project.
An unofficial letter had been written to Mr. H. R. Miller, eecretary of the Imard, and X.S.W. League, suggesting that a. team be sent to this country while the Xew Zealand Centenary celebrations were in progress, but further than that no tour had been mooted.
