SUPPLIES ARRIVE.
Byrd Busy Establishing Base In Antarctic. 810 SEA LEOPARD CAUGHT. (Received 2 p.m.) WASHINGTON, January 16. Rear-Admiral R. K. Byrd radioed that his supply ship, the Bear of Oakland, has arrived. He and his niPii arc working 12-hour shifts to establish e. base east of Little America. Scouting ski-iers saw equipment used in 1035, leading to the hope that the old buildings arc intact. The party has caught an 8001b sea leopard, which they hope to deliver to the Washington Zoo.
