ATTEMPT ABANDONED.
FLY STRANDED 'PLANE. (Received 2.30 p.m.) CANBERRA, this day. Mr. K. C. Berry, who was piloting Dr. Alberry, the "flying doctor," when their 'plane made a forced landing in the Gulf country last week, has abandoned hi* attempt to fly the 'plane from its stranded position, owing to heavy rain. He has ar.ived at Almora station.
