LATE TO BED.
A strong complaint that children too often keep late hours is made by Dr. Nora Allen, a school medical oflicer of Yorkshire. She says it is usual for .children of four, live and six to go to bed at eight or nine. . Some will not go even then* but insist oh waiting up until their parents go. She adds that the children arc too often allowed to have their own .way in-the- Inatier* Older children go to bed as" late as " ten, ajid go to- school "pdle, listless and heavyeyed/'. looking do - undernourished that tlieir teachers'*- .recommend them for extra meals, inilk, or'school dinners.-
