Pretty Wedding.

CULFORD BELL—WYLLIE.

WHITE EMBOSSED TAFFETA

The marriage recently took place of Miss Mary Maxwell Wyllie, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wyllie, of "Papahinu." Papatoetoe, and Mr. Ronald Culford Bell, only son of Mrs. Culford Bell and the late Mr. J. Culford Bell, of Papatoetoe. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. J. Orange at the bride's home.

The bride, who was jjiven away bv her father, wore a charming gown of white eniiliossed taffetas, made on slimfitting lines, with high neck and short sleeves. With it was worn a Brussels lace veil, held in place by a coronet of white carnations and lilies of the valley, and a bouquet of the same flowers was carried. The veil was lent for the occasion.

In attendance on the bride was her sister. Miss Kathleen Wyllie, who wore an Old English frock of dusky pink and powder blue, with picture hat and flowers to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. James Inder, of Waipukurati, as 'best man.

A number of relatives and friends of the bride and bridegroom were afterwards entertained by Mrs. Wyllie, who received her guests wearing a black lace sheer frock and picture hat. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations and pink lilies. Mrs. Culford Bell wore a cinnamon frock of French crepe with Buntal hat and bouquet to match.

A feature of the occasion was the presence of five grandparents of the bride and groom.
