Poverty Bay, in its second innings* made 05 for four wickets (D. Wells 34, H. Lee 10; Jackman two for 19, Armstrong one for 11). In its match with Auckland City and Suburban, Waikato declared with 144 for the loss of eight wickets (T. Lyon 35, K L. Sandford 32, W. Cassidy 20, H. Lyon 18, P. Jordan 11 ; H. Hood three for 38) City and Suburban replied with 32, Robinson, 15, being the principal scorer. P. Bright took six wickets for 22 runs and T. Lyon two for 8.
