SYDNEY MARU FROM JAPAN.

The Watchlin Line motor vessel Port Waikato, which arrived yesterday afternoon from Lyttelton, is discharging at Central wharf. After completing ' her discharge, she will undergo annual survey here, resuming her running on Wednesday, January 10, when she sails for Wellington and South Island ports. The Matson liner Monterey, which left Auckland on December 12, arrives at San Francisco to-day. She sails on Tuesday, January 2," for Auckland, via Los Angeles, Honolulu, Pago Pago and Suva, arriving here on Friday, January 19, at 7.30 a.m., sailing at 10 p.m. for Sydney. The Union Company's motor ship Waiana left Timaru on Saturday for Auckland, via Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due he.re next Monday. The motor ship Sydney Maru, q.f the Osaka Syosen Kaisya Line, which left Kobe £>n November 29 for Auckland, via Rabaul and Noumea, is due on Tuesday, January 2.

Mariposa arrived at Sydney yesterday morning from Auckland and'leaves to-morrow for Melbourne. She returns to Auckland on January 8. (H. and M.)

Kiwitea,. which arrived yesterday morning from Westport, is discharging at Chelsea, after which she pays off.

Kopara arrived from Eaet Coaet ports on Sunday and is discharging at Viaduct wharf. She sails on January 3 for Gisborne. (W. and W.)

Nikau left Nelson this morning for Onchunga and is due on Friday morning, sailing in the evening on her return to Nelson. (N.S.S. Co.)

Waimarino is loading at Prince's wharf for southern ports and will sail on Friday for Wellington (U.S.S. Co.)

Margaret W., which arrived on Saturday from East Coaet ports, is at King's wharf and will be in port until Wednesday, January 3. (F. Co-op.)
